Meet Luke Melhop - vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from South East Queensland, Australia.
Luke has enjoyed many years refining his musicianship in singing, looping and playing guitar (both acoustic and electric) and entertaining crowds of all kinds. He has played and sang with numerous outfits since creating his first band; The Stone Crows in 1999,
He has performed everywhere from local pubs and clubs to festivals such as the Airlie Beach Music Festival and Mitchell Creek Blues Festival, as well as supporting major Australian touring acts.
Luke's adventures in music started in the school choir. He was just 13 years old when he first performed professionally in front an audience, filling in for an absent bass player in a duo with his father.

Musicianship, repertoire, equipment, appearance... Many things have changed over the years, yet the passion for live music has remained the same. The unique and rewarding feeling of creating connections with audiences through musical performance has become a way of life.

What was just a hobby in the early days eventually turned into an all-encompassing endeavour, well beyond just performing an ever-evolving playlist of songs.
In particular, Luke Melhop has devoted a lot of attention to the production aspect of his show: with an ongoing, significant investment in equipment and education - all directed at making sure that everything sounds and looks as best it can, everywhere, every time.
